Milk thistle has its origins in the Mediterranean area. Since centuries, it is well known to protect and support liver function. Several studies suggest that it helps repair the liver and decrease signs of liver damage.

Turmeric

Turmeric is the most commonly used herb to support liver health since its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties help to protect and regenerate liver cells.  

Globe artichoke

Globe artichoke contains high concentrations of flavonoids and phenolic acids, which have been discovered about a century ago to help increase bile production (choleretic). Bile not only aids with digestion but also with the excretion of bilirubin, a byproduct of red blood cell break down during the blood cleansing and renewal process. New evidence also supports its role in helping balance triglyceride levels and decreasing cholesterol levels.
