Adaptogens are a class of compounds which increase the body’s resistance to stress, mitigating its harmful effects. Relax & Recharge is a synergistic combination of two adaptogenic herbs, Rhodiola and Ashwagandha, which reduce cortisol levels, improve mental focus, concentration, stamina and have a balancing effect on mood.
Chronic stress, whether it is mental, physical, emotional or even environmental, wreaks havoc with the body’s natural biological balances by raising the stress hormone cortisol. High cortisol has negative effects on many systems in the body, including metabolism, nutrient absorption and immunity and when one system in the body is negatively impacted, it affects other systems as well.
When stressed, illness occurs more frequently, concentration is impaired, sleep is disrupted and energy is lacking. Balancing cortisol levels is the most effective treatment and that can be accomplished by lifestyle changes or supplementation with adaptogenic herbs.
Take 1 AOR Relax & Recharge capsule one to three times daily with or without food, or as directed by a qualified health care practitioner. Not to be taken immediately before bedtime.
