Meanwhile‚ Phellodendron amurense (or the Amur cork tree) is native to Japan‚ Korea‚ and parts of China; the tree is the source of one of the 50 fundamental herbs in Chinese herbology.
       
      These herbs may be able to bind to serotonin and GABA receptors in the central nervous system that promote carbohydrate cravings‚ which may lessen the emotional eating urge and make maintaining a healthy‚ balanced diet less difficult.
