Pomegranate
The antioxidants and ellagic acid found in the pomegranate are proven to protect against cell damage from free radicals that we are exposed to from UV radiation. They reduce oxidative stress in skin cells and minimize cell damage, which are otherwise factors that can contribute to signs of skin aging such as wrinkles and fine lines. The protective effects of the pomegranate’s antioxidants help your skin to stay healthy and are aimed to combat signs of premature skin aging.
Collagen
Marine collagen provides your body with important building blocks to support the body’s own collagen formation. Together with zinc, it is designed to aid connective tissue formation in your skin.
Tomato
Tomatoes contain lycopene, an antioxidant that helps fight cellular damage from free radicals, which we are exposed to everyday from sun exposure and environmental pollutants. By helping reduce cell and protein damage they also help reduce damage and break down of the collagen matrix proteins in your skin.Â
Algae
Algaes are a natural source of astaxanthin, one of the most powerful antioxidants. They work by inhibiting the formation of enzymes (collagenases), which otherwise degrade collagen. Therefore, they help prevent further breakdown of collagen and help maintain the health of your skin.
