Omega Alpha Probiotic 8 Plus (Animal)

I have trouble getting my cat to take this product. Normally, probiotics are white in colour, this one is green. I have to conclude that the colour is reflective of the ingredients, which may be great, but the colour was certainly offputting, at least for me. When mixed with wet food, my cat put his nose up to it. When I placed two bowls, side by side, one with the probiotic and one without, he immediately and always chose the one without the probiotic. I also sprinkled a small amount in his dry food as recommendeed. Again, he hesitated and did not eat a lot, but did eat some. Given the amount I have administered to date, daily over a a few weeks, I see no change in him or his condition (runny stools). I have tried other probiotics, pumpkin, fermented goats milk, limited ingredient food, all to no affect. I also tried changing his diet and eliminating poultry (allergy?) without success. Also several prescribed meds. Even Vet offered no further help. Any advice?

We have struggled with loose stool with my 1.5 year old rescue all her life. Switched dog food brands, endless vet appts and antibiotic prescription. I finally picked this up at our local pet food. I was hesitant on the fact that it’s a green powder, but my dog doesn’t notice it and we simply sprinkle it on her kibble. She FINALLY has formed stool. We are so relieved. We came on this site as it was the best prices we found online and in store. Was delivered in a few days! No need to refrigerate. I would definitely recommend to anyone to use for their dog if they struggle with looser stool.
